The first pieces added to the interior are the wheel well covers. Aluminum foil backed foam was attached to the metal wheel wells to soundproof a bit.
The covers, made from 3/4″ oak veneer plywood extend from the front of the wheel wells to the back of the van, creating two small storage spaces behind the wheels.
Once finished, the covers will be bolted to the floor and attached to the back corners of the van and side wood panel where the final wall covering will be attached. The wheel well covers are 11″ high, and the space between them is about 54″.
